The Veteran's Day program, generously sponsored by Averitt Center for the Arts, in partnership with the American Legion Dexter Allen Post 90 and Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, is a distinguished and heartwarming event dedicated to honoring the valor and dedication of our veterans.

This program stands as a shining example of the community's deep appreciation for those who have served our nation. Within the elegant surroundings of the Averitt Center for the Arts and with the attendance of the Portal Middle High School Band and Bulloch County Sheriff's Honor Guard, attendees are treated to moving speeches, inspirational musical performances, and a solemn presentation of the colors.

The event brings together veterans, their families, and the community at large, uniting in a collective expression of gratitude and respect. It serves as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our veterans and underscores the importance of recognizing and supporting their service.
