Four lifelong friends, the last remaining members of the Nevils High School Class of 1953, recently gathered for a heartwarming reunion, sharing stories and laughter that spanned seven decades.

The Button is collecting toiletries for close to 1,500 Bulloch County students, which the organization will distribute in summer hygiene bags before school gets out. The community is invited to donate items at multiple locations around town as well as to help assemble the bags on April 30.
