Don't miss SHRED DAY at CORE Credit Union. Members of the community can stop by CORE Credit Union's Market District branch on April 27 rom 10am to 1pm for free shredding of personal items, as well as music, food, giveaways, and an exclusive tour of the facility.

The event at the Original First African Baptist Church on Westside Rd. will feature a community yard sale, vendors, live entertainment, and more. Sales benefit local community outreach programs.

Jackson will sign free autographs at Statesboro Sports and Memorabilia, and a hot dog sale fundraiser for the Roosevelt Cone Jr. Scholarship Foundation will take place at the same time.

Dozens of art stops and activities were set up under the sun at Sweetheart Circle on the Georgia Southern Campus for Saturday's ArtsFest 2024. The Bulloch County Recreation and Parks Department, artists, local businesses, and volunteers welcomed attendees to take in the sights and join in on the colorful fun of the annual tradition. For more than 36 years, Relay For Life has brought together communities worldwide to commemorate those who have battled cancer, celebrate survivors, and rally for life-saving change. On Friday evening, April 19th, the community of Statesboro illuminated that spirit of hope and unity at its annual Relay For Life event.
