The Statesboro Bulloch Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon cutting for Child Advocacy Services SEGA Inc. in its new location on N. College St.

The Statesboro community is rallying behind U.S. Army veteran Matthew Kleinsorge, a devoted father of four, as he battles acute myeloid leukemia and prepares for a life-saving bone marrow transplant, with a GoFundMe campaign launched to support his family during this challenging time.

Elaine Minick Stone, Shannon Grindler, Shannon Ward, and Sheila Stewart-Leach will compete in the Soup-er Bowl Showdown on February 8 at the Statesboro Food Bank, and Kim Riner and the ceramic artists of the Averitt Center are providing handcrafted bowls. Join the food bank for this fun and delicious event to help make a difference in our community!

This Saturday, Statesboro residents have two opportunities to experience the excitement surrounding the new Flight Factory project from Zero Gravity Outreach: a family-friendly community day from 1-5 PM and a high-energy "Base to the Future" event with live DJs and laser lights from 7-10 PM. Both free events offer a glimpse into the future of this ambitious downtown revitalization project at 100 N. Mulberry Street.
