Statesboro City Council kicks off 2025 with award-winning transit system recognition
On a chilly January morning, the Statesboro City Council convened for their first meeting of the year, highlighted by the presentation of the Georgia Transit Association Performance Award to the Statesboro Area Transit System (SATS). Recognized as Georgia’s top-performing transit system, SATS has provided over 27,000 rides since May 2022, showcasing its growth and commitment to service improvements.
