The Savannah Book Festival, which is scheduled for the first weekend in February 2025, has announced the authors for its Headliner Addresses at the Lucas Theatre.

Anna Quindlen will provide the Opening Address on Thursday, February 6; Sebastian Junger will provide the Keynote Address on Friday, February 7; and Ben Mezrich will deliver the Closing Address on Sunday, February 9. The Headliner Events are ticketed events during the Savannah Book Festival and include 45-minute presentations by the featured authors on their creative process and life as a writer, followed by a Q&A and book signing.

2025 marks the 18th year for the Savannah Book Festival, which features more than 40 authors and runs from Thursday, February 6 through Sunday, February 9, 2025 in Historic Downtown Savannah.

One of the Festival’s highlights, Festival Saturday, on February 8 is free and open to the public. Festival Saturday features solo author presentations in seven venues throughout the downtown area, as well as book signings, food trucks, and more.

Another Festival feature is the community outreach program, SBF@Schools, where a number of the Savannah Book Festival’s best-selling authors choose to arrive a day early to the festival to visit area schools to inspire students. The authors visit the schools to discuss their creative process, early educational experiences, and influences and successes in their writing lives with local middle and high school students as well as college students.

Headliner event tickets will go on sale January 9, 2025 and can be purchased at https://www.scadboxoffice.com/.
