MEET KEVIN PATRICK

Kevin Patrick moved to Statesboro, Georgia in 1994 with his high school sweetheart, Sharon, to start their life together. Kevin was a sales representative for US Foods in Bryan, Evans and Tattnall counties, and Sharon worked as a pharmacist in a local, hometown pharmacy. Kevin was later promoted to District Manager that included the counties of Bulloch, Candler, Jenkins, and others. He now serves as the Regional Sales Manager for US Foods in the largest distribution center in the country.  During his thirty years working for US Foods, Kevin has received many awards, accolades, and recognitions, but he says the best part is serving his customers and being a part of an extended family of coworkers.

His passion for serving others started early while working in his parents’ Kentucky Fried Chicken franchises as he watched them build a business. He actually met the real Colonel Sanders and had breakfast with him when he was in the second grade. It is a moment that he still remembers vividly.

Kevin received his degree in economics at Valdosta State University, where he was a walk on football player. He has continued his love for athletics through the years by working in various gyms.  He has also competed in various sports and coached numerous youth sports teams.

Kevin and Sharon are proud parents of two children. Their daughter, Ashley, is a licensed speech pathologist at the Therapy Spot in Statesboro, who is married to Statesboro native, Brett Rushing. Their son, Tommy, is currently a graduate student at the University of Georgia working on his master’s in accounting. They are members of the Brooklet United Methodist church where he has served on numerous committees, taught Sunday School, and currently helps his wife every week with the local Backpack Buddy program. Kevin has also served on the Coastal Plains FCA Board.

His love of serving others, coupled with his enthusiasm for “free style” dancing, led him to jump at the chance to be a part of this year’s Dancing with the Statesboro Stars.

MEET JADE HOYLE

Jade Hoyle is a 22-year-old native of Statesboro and the daughter of Stephen and Rosanna Hoyle. She is a 2019 Honor Graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and a 2021 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College earning her Associate Degree in Surgical Technology.  She is currently employed as a Surgical Technician at Burke Health in Waynesboro, Georgia.

Jade has been dancing since the age of 2 at Southern Dance Academy in Brooklet, Georgia, and has been a dance instructor and choreographer there for the past six years working with children of all ages in the areas of jazz, tap, lyrical and tumbling. This is Jade’s 3rd year serving as a dance pro with Dancing with the Statesboro Stars where she and her partners have received The Team Player Award, Fundraising Runner up Award, as well as the Fan Favorite Award.

Jade has spent many years performing with her dance studio.  Her performances included dancing at theme parks including Disney World in Florida, Six Flags over Georgia, Carowinds in North Carolina, and has performed at an Atlanta Hawks basketball game. In addition, she has performed locally in talent shows and entertained at pageants, recitals and parades for many years. In her free time, Jade enjoys wakeboarding, jet skiing, playing golf and going to the beach.
