Founded in 1963, Bulloch Fertilizer has evolved from a small, local operation into a major player in the agriculture and turf industries, while remaining a family-run business for more than six decades.

Established by Raybon Anderson, who built the company from the ground up with a commitment to honesty and top-tier customer service, Bulloch Fertilizer has passed through the hands of multiple generations. Today, Raybon’s son Mike Anderson serves as president, carrying forward the family’s legacy of integrity and innovation.

Raybon Anderson started the business with a focus on liquid fertilizers, catering to local farmers’ needs with custom solutions. Over time, Bulloch Fertilizer expanded to include a dry blending plant, allowing them to create custom fertilizer mixes tailored to different crops and soil conditions.

This strategic move enabled the company to diversify, serving not just agriculture, but also the golf and turf markets, where maintaining perfect greens and fairways is crucial. The introduction of bagged fertilizers extended their reach, giving landscapers and turf managers an easy source of high-quality products.

Today, under Mike Anderson's leadership, Bulloch Fertilizer continues to thrive, maintaining a strong foothold in agriculture while growing its golf, turf, and bagged fertilizer divisions. Landscapers and professionals with larger specialty projects turn to Bulloch Fertilizer as a one-stop shop for bulk orders of fertilizers and chemicals.

The company's state-of-the-art bagging facility in Statesboro allows it to keep up with demand, ensuring customers can pick up a wide range of blends between 7am and 4pm on weekdays.

The Anderson family’s deep involvement in the business has only strengthened over time. Jon Marsh Anderson, a third-generation family member, is now actively involved in Bulloch Fertilizer, continuing the tradition of innovation and customer-focused service. Meanwhile, Jon Marsh’s brother, Lawson Anderson, plays a key role in another branch of the family’s business legacy—Anderson’s General Store, which has become a trusted name for local products and farm supplies.

Despite its expansion, Bulloch Fertilizer has always kept in touch with the small-town values Raybon Anderson instilled from the very beginning. For over sixty  years, the company has remained committed to offering quality products at fair prices, backed by unbeatable customer service.
