East Georgia Regional Medical Center has continued operations through Hurricane Helene, and our skilled physicians, nurses and other employees are equipped to continue caring for patients in the hospital, as well as those who may come to our emergency department.

We secured surplus supplies including mobile back-up generators and fuel to continue our services without interruption and kept our patients and staff safe.

We are grateful for the commitment and compassion of our skilled physicians, nurses and other employees who have done rigorous work.

We are proud of the work our community’s first responders and disaster response teams are doing to recover our streets and neighborhoods as quickly as possible.

We urge everyone to stay safe during this time of recovery.

Updates will be provided about our scheduled surgeries and clinic operations on Monday, as we are committed to returning to normal operations as soon as possible.
