Coming off of a historic 24-2 regular season, the Lady Jackets have earned the right to host the first round of the playoffs. On Friday October 18th, Southeast Bulloch will take on the Islands Sharks in a doubleheader.

Southeast Bulloch finished 2nd in the state for the Class AAA division. The Lady Jackets have dominated almost everyone on their schedule this season and will look to keep it going into the playoffs. Head Coach Aimee Civalier talked all year long about the importance of the regular season to ensure that they have good seeding for the postseason. There is no better position to be in that to play a playoff game in front of your home fans.

Southeast Bulloch has played Islands twice already this season and came away with a win in both games. The Yellow Jackets outscored the Sharks 25-1 over their two meetings including a 16-0 win a little over a week ago.

However, the Lady Jackets can't overlook their opponent. In the playoffs, anything can happen.

The first pitch of the doubleheader is set to be thrown at 4:00pm on Friday at SEB. The second will start at 6:00pm.

Go Yellow Jackets!
