It has been an eventful couple of weeks for Megan Newham. She played her final softball games at Southeast Bulloch, and advanced to the GHSA Class AAA state championships with her team. Despite her high school career being over, she has at least one more softball game in her.
Newham has been selected to play in the GADC All-State Game at Truist Park.
The SEB senior played a big part in the success of the Lady Jackets' softball team this season. Her leadership on and off the field helped fuel and galvanize her teammates. Receiving an honor to play in a statewide all star at Truist Park is the icing on the cake to a phenomenal senior season.
