New Georgia Southern head women's basketball coach Hana Haden has announced the addition of five senior transfers who will be joining the Eagles for the upcoming 2024-25 campaign.

The five seniors who join the roster are: guards Bukky Akinsola (5-6, Sr., Hillsdale, N.J. / High Point), McKenna Eddings (6-0, Sr., Williamsburg, Va. / Auburn) and Nicole Gwynn (5-7, Sr., Hartford, Conn. / Queens (NC)), along with forward Indya Green (5-11, Sr., Springfield, Mo. / Missouri State) and center Leah Johnson (6-3, Sr., Ewing, N.J. / Georgia Southwestern State).

"I'm very excited to coach these seniors and for them to help establish our culture in my first season at Georgia Southern," Coach Haden said. "These five young women are not only high character people, they also bring an incredible combination of experience, talent, athleticism, and leadership abilities. Obviously there is the familiarity with Bukky, McKenna, Indya, and Leah having coached them before. I'm grateful to experience a "full circle" moment in getting to coach them again in their senior seasons. I'm also extremely happy about the addition of Nicole Gwynn, who is a proven scorer and who we expect to have a major impact."
