More About the Choir

The Boro Community Choir is made up of singers from Bulloch and surrounding counties that perform in Statesboro and the surrounding area, striving to provide a place where people who love music can join their voices together and be encouraged as they sing songs that will vary in style and genre from southern gospel hymns of the faith to modern worship songs, and, of course, seasonal songs of joy, cheer, and praise for Christmas and other celebratory events.

“The Boro Choir has the opportunity to be a blessing throughout the community as they present seasonal concerts, minister in song at various nursing homes, assisted living facilities, Christmas celebrations, civic luncheons, and other invitations throughout Bulloch County,” Brazell shared.

Brazell directs and conducts the choir with passion, dedication and enthusiasm. His 17+ years of full-time worship ministry has enhanced teamwork and camaraderie among choir members. Married to Lauren with 2 daughters, Lively and Dolly James, Brazell has created a community of fellowship of like-minded people sharing a passion for singing and music.

“The Boro Community Choir welcomes anyone that wants to join and be a part of our choir,” said Brazell. “NO experience is needed, just a love for singing, a heart for serving and sharing music with others.”
