Join Kennedy Pond Conservancy for the inaugural Gator Crawl 5K followed by a lively Food Truck Fest on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 8am-3pm! It will be a day packed with fitness, fun, and fantastic food.
Lace up your sneakers for the race and then grab some delicious bites from the lineup of food trucks. It’s sure to be fun for the whole family! The event will have FREE ADMISSION, so the Conservancy invites you to "bring everyone along for a wonderful day out."
Event Schedule
- Gator Crawl 5K Run: 8:30am-10am
- Kick off the day with a challenging and scenic 5K run around Kennedy Pond. Whether you're an experienced runner or a first-timer, this race is perfect for everyone. Registration is $25 per runner, and the first 50 registered participants will receive a free t-shirt.
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: 10:30am-11am
- Ideal for families and individuals of all ages, the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk allows participants to enjoy a leisurely pace while taking in the beautiful surroundings. Registration is $10 per participant.
- Awards Ceremony: 12:30pm-1pm
- Celebrate the achievements of our runners at the awards ceremony. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers in various categories.
- Food Truck Festival: 11am-3pm
- Satisfy your hunger with a diverse selection of food trucks offering a wide range of culinary delights. From savory to sweet, there’s something for everyone!

Registration & Participation
Register to race at https://kennedypondconservancy.org/events-calendar/gator-crawl/. Registration is $25 per runner for the Gator Crawl 5K and $10 per participant for the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. The first 50 registered participants for the 5K will receive a free t-shirt.
