Safe Haven is excited to announce D&R Car Care as the presenting sponsor of the 13th Annual Dancing with the Statesboro Stars that is set to take place this November.
Dancing with the Statesboro Stars is a night of dancing and performances to raise funds and awareness for Safe Haven, the nonprofit organization that serves adult and child survivors of domestic violence in Bulloch and five surrounding counties.
Invested in the local community, D&R Car Care is no stranger to supporting a good cause.
Since its opening in January of 2000, owner Ray Driggers and his late father, Don, have prioritized expanding their philanthropic footprint by giving back to dozens of local charities in Bulloch County and surrounding areas.
When asked, “Why Safe Haven?”, Ray responded, “D&R has donated to local charities for over 23 years. All are very important to us, but Safe Haven has a special place in our hearts. The work the employees and volunteers do is vital in our community.”

The family-owned auto repair shop is now owned and operated by Ray and his son, Taylor Driggers, who continue to honor his father and grandfather’s mission to serve and strengthen community-based services in southeast Georgia.
As a relationship-oriented business, D&R Car Care proudly advocates Safe Haven’s mission to serve, strengthen and support survivors of domestic violence. They want to help foster new beginnings creating better lives for their neighbors and beyond.

Mark your calendars for two extraordinary shows this Fall 2023: Thursday, Nov. 9 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 12 at 3:00 p.m. The 2023 stars and dance pros will be announced very soon.
