The Georgia Southern men's golf program, the Schenkel Invitational Committee, and Forest Heights Country Club are hosting the 45th playing of the Schenkel Invitational, one of the premiere events and longest-running tournaments in college golf, March 21-23, 2025 at Forest Heights in Statesboro.
Admission is free, and spectators are welcome.

Since 1971, the Schenkel Invitational has consistently drawn top-tier teams and players from all corners of the United States to Statesboro, Georgia. The annual event is held at the picturesque Forest Heights Country Club, and holds a cherished place in the hearts of many.
The field of play for the 2024 tournament includes teams from Army, Campbell, Florida, Georgia Southern, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Middle Tennessee, Notre Dame, UAB, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Yale.
In 2024, the Florida Gators won the Schenkel with a score of 277-277-283=837 (-27). South Carolina's Nathan Franks was the individual champion with a score of 69-66-68=203 (-13).
The tournament started with a kid's clinic on Wednesday, March 19th. The 1st round will tee off at 9:00am on Friday, March 21st. Rounds 2 and 3 will be on Saturday and Sunday. The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday around 4:00pm. The full schedule can be found here.
