As of 10:05 PM election workers were continuing to count absentee ballots.
Election workers were allowed to begin the absentee processing at 3 pm. However, there was a last minute interpretation of the law about who can handle absentee ballots. The interpretation decided that the registered observers for the two political parties were not able to process absentee ballots. This removed four people from the absentee ballot process. Which significantly slowed down the process and has caused this significant delay in getting the final results at this time.
National results are still pending at the time of this story. They will continue to update by the Associated Press.

- State Representative 158th - Butch Parrish (R) versus Madeline Ryan Smith (D).
- U.S. Representative 12th - Rick Allen (R) versus Liz Johnson (D).
