Professional stand-up comedian Jon Reep, known for his unique country humor and roles in popular TV shows and films, will perform live at the Averitt Center for the Arts on January 11. Reep was the winner of Season 5 of NBC's "Last Comic Standing."

Merry Christmas, Baby! The PAC recently hosted 'Sail On,' a Beach Boys tribute band, for a Christmas concert that blended beach music favorites and holiday classics.

The community is invited to attend this family friendly show at the PAC on Saturday afternoon.

First Baptist Statesboro's Christmas celebration will feature the church's talented Worship Choir, Orchestra, and Kids Praise Choir as well as talented dancers and a dynamic drumline. This December, the Averitt Center for the Arts in Statesboro invites the community to celebrate the season with a trio of festive performances: Carroll Brown's Celtic Christmas concert, the Statesboro Chamber Orchestra's winter concert, and "A Crooning Christmas" with Chris Mitchell, offering a blend of traditional holiday music, orchestral classics, and jazz standards.

Local artists will come together to present their one-of-a-kind creations for a holiday shopping event at the Roxie Remley Center for Fine Arts on December 5-7.

This holiday season, experience the magic of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol like never before, as Brock D. Vickers performs a captivating one-man rendition of the classic story on November 21, 2024, at Georgia Southern University's Center for Art and Theatre on the Statesboro campus.

Statesboro native Julie Lavender recently celebrated the release of her debut children's picture book, A Gingerbread House, a heartwarming holiday tale inspired by her own family traditions. She will showcase the new book at a festive book launch event at Sugar Magnolia Coffeehouse on November 23.
