Keep Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful (KSBB) will postpone the Paper Shredding and Recycling Drive from April 24, 2021 and will be rescheduled for May 22, 2021. KSBB has closely monitored weather conditions for this coming Saturday. Due to chances of severe thunderstorms in the area the organization has decided to move the drive to keep participants and staff safe.
KSBB will be launching its first-ever free paper shredding and recycling event in Statesboro! The event will take place on Saturday, May 22, 2021, starting at 9:00 a.m..The paper shredding and recycling drive will be a "drive-thru" event where individuals and can drive up to drop off their paper items for secure shredding on-site. Paper items can include sensitive tax information, bank records, and financial records that require professional shredding.
This shredding and recycling drive will be held in partnership with Ultra Shred Technologies, Inc. Ultra Shred Technologies is a family-owned business located in Jacksonville, Florida, that has been established since 2000. They provide on-site, high-security shredding to private documents. Ultra Shred Technologies also securely recycles all shredded documents. Individuals can rest assured that their documents will be disposed of and recycled properly. KSBB and Ultra Shred Technologies ask that individuals of Statesboro and Bulloch County bring NO MORE than 3 banker boxes or copy paper boxes full of paper in need of shredding. Items that cannot be shredded are: three ring binders, DVD,s, hanging file folders, CD’s, or hard-bound books. This event will be for Statesboro and Bulloch County residents only.
