Georgia Southern Theatre to perform Midsummer Night’s Dream

The play opens November 9 and runs until November 13

The Georgia Southern theatre is proud to announce its next production, Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare, directed by Lisa Abbott SDC. Opening Wednesday, November 9, and running through Sunday, Nov. 13 at the Center for Art and Theatre Blackbox.

Shakespeare’s most loved comedy comes to the Georgia Southern Stage full of magic and mischief.  Join the four young lovers as they travel through the magical realm of fairy where all is not what it seems, and no one escapes untouched.

Opening night will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 7: 30 p.m. and the show will run at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, Nov. 13.

All performances will be held at the Center for Art & Theatre, which is located at 233 Pittman Drive behind the Interdisciplinary building and next to the Art building, on the Statesboro Campus. General admission will be $12 with student admission at $6.
