The Georgia Ranch Horse Association (GRHA) is hosting a thrilling equestrian event this weekend at the Bulloch County Ag Complex, located at 44 Arena Blvd in Statesboro, GA. The show, which runs from September 6-8, is set to bring together riders and horses from across the region for a series of competitive events.

The weekend's activities kick off on Friday, September 6, with events in Arena A starting at 4:00pm. Competitors will showcase their skills in various working ranch horse categories, including AMA Working Ranch Horse, Youth Working Ranch Horse, and Jr. Working Ranch Horse, among others.

Saturday’s schedule is packed with events, beginning at 8:00am in Arena A, featuring Senior and Junior Herd Work, AMA Ranch Boxing, and several Ranch Riding classes. Meanwhile, Arena B will start the day with an "At Will" event for participants to sign up for the Ranch Trail and Ranchmanship competitions, with events beginning at 7:00am.

The excitement continues on Sunday, September 8, with final competitions in both Arena A and Arena B. Arena A will host the Working Cow Horse and Ranch Cutting events starting at 10:00am, while Arena B will feature Ranchmanship and Showmanship events, starting at 7:00am.

Participants should note that GRHA membership and horse registration are required for all events. Judges' cards will remain open during the Working Cow Horse events to avoid conflicts with conformation classes. Exhibitors are reminded to have all paperwork ready, including a current negative Coggins test and a 30-day health certificate for out-of-state horses.

Spectators are welcome to attend and witness the horsemanship and athleticism on display. The host hotel for the event is the Holiday Inn Express Statesboro, conveniently located on the Blue Mile in the entertainment district of Downtown Statesboro, which is a short drive from the Ag Complex.

For more information about the event, or to register for upcoming shows, please contact the show secretary, Derek Garner, at (478) 365-1850, or the show manager, Greg Cahill, at (478) 447-5065.
