Bulloch County VOAD needs more trained volunteers to assist our community in times of crisis and encourages churches, civic clubs and individuals to attend this training. The Early Response Team (ERT) Training by UMCOR will take place on Saturday, January 18 at Pittman Park UMC in Statesboro, GA.

Bulloch County Disaster Recovery Center extended through January 17
The Mobile Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Bulloch County will remain open daily until Friday, January 17, 2025, giving survivors of Tropical Storm Debby and Hurricane Helene more time to seek in-person FEMA assistance. Residents in designated counties are encouraged to apply for disaster relief before the final application deadline has been extended until February 7, 2025.

FEMA returns Mobile Disaster Recovery Center to Bulloch County as January deadline nears
FEMA has returned to the Kiwanis Fairgrounds Bulloch County to open a temporary mobile Disaster Recovery Center.
