Cameron Durden, Jr., and Joe Lanier, Jr., competed this past Saturday in the USTA Carolina Ale Junior Championships in Augusta and won their divisions. Cameron Jr. is a 7th grader at Trinity Christian School and won the 12-and-under boys division at the tournament. Joe Jr. is a 7th grader at Bulloch Academy and won the 14-and-under boys division.
Cameron Jr. is the son of Anna and Cameron Durden. Joe Jr. is the son of Laura and Joe Lanier.
“It has been been fun to watch the boys progress," said Coach Tom Lieu, Statesboro Top Shots, USTA Junior Tennis Team. "I have a feeling there will be many more wins to come!”
