On Thursday, November 21, 2024, Gator Alley was flooded with an overwhelming amount of school spirit for the Bulloch Academy football team celebrating their school pride of being a Gator with an exciting pep rally.
Bulloch Academy is heading to the State Championship this Saturday at Georgia Southern's Paulson Stadium after a dominating undefeated season against all competitors.
The Bulloch Academy Gators are seeking their first state title since 1997 which was 27 years ago for the school. The momentum that the team has carried throughout the year sparked a fire of energy under the Gators fans at the rally.
The entire school united together as one with school spirit flowing throughout the entire gymnasium to let their voices be heard for the upcoming game this Saturday.
Students ranging from the tenured seniors all the way down to the energetic kindergartners roared their excitement with chants soaring out that could be heard around the entire school.
Students filled the entire gym with the sensational legacy school colors of gold, green, and grey to embody what it means to truly be Bulloch Academy Gator. Each student showcased their own flare to the outfits at the pep rally.
The various members of the student body competed in entertaining games that had everyone in the gym on their feet singing, dancing, laughing, jumping, and screaming out their school pride throughout the rally.
The Pep rally also had a spectacle of a wrestling match where the Bulloch Academy mascot battled the First Presbyterian Day mascot in a brawl to show the school's future dominance in the championship game.
The rally was capped off with a few words from Coach Aaron Phillips and some of the veteran senior athletes on the team that paved the way to the championship game. The players and head coach discussed the massive support from the entire school screaming out to the crowd “Pack Paulson Stadium”.
As the entire school rallies behind their Gators in complete solidarity the countdown begins to Saturday’s big game, which will be the biggest game of the year. Only time will tell if the Gators can tie up the end of this season with the championship banner raised in Gator Alley.
In honor of "Swamp Paulson," fans can come out and participate in the Gator Tailgate starting at 4:30pm.
Players will arrive for the Gator Walk at 5:45 pm.
Kickoff is at 8 pm.
