I am so very excited to share the ‘lovely’ meeting I had with Haylea Hannah, Program Supervisor with Bulloch County Recreation and Parks Department, who coordinates the Adults 50+ programs. Best yet, membership is only $40 for the entire year. CLICK HERE for membership information.
WHAT A DELIGHT!
Haylea Hannah is a twin and a graduate from Georgia Southern in exercise science. In December 2022, she started working with the Adults 50+ full-time and loves her position at Bulloch County Recreation and Parks Department. She commented that she “likes to keep the activities fresh, and the seniors love the new relationships and friendships they are making.”
While visiting the facility, Haylea brought to my attention the daily and monthly activities they have to offer at the Recreation Center including a monthly field trip, weekly Bingo, Scrabble and Canasta, as well as special classes like line dancing, chair yoga, strength training, and much more.
Bulloch County Recreation and Parks offers on their Adults 50+ Newsletter events including bowling at The Clubhouse on Friday, May 19th, and a Tanger Outlet visit on Tuesday, May 23rd.
Mark your calendars and schedule early for these events! Attached you will see a monthly calendar and some special events like a lunch out event and painting classes.
