Bulloch BOE: Updates to site plan of new SEBHS
The Bulloch County School Board continues to narrow the site drawings of the new SEBHS, with cost efficiency and current student body size at the forefront of the plan's direction. Kappa Zeta Chapter of Kappa Sigma hosts first annual 9/11 Memorial 5k benefiting Statesboro Fire Department
Kappa Sigma at Georgia Southern held its inaugural 9/11 Memorial 5k Fundraiser to not only honor the victims of the September 11 terrorists attacks but also give back to the Statesboro community. The race was the idea of chapter member John Wood, and in its first year, raised more than $5,000 for the Statesboro Fire Department.

Zeta Tau Alpha alums to “Pink Out the Fountain” for breast cancer awareness
October marks the start of Breast Cancer Education and Awareness Month, and to kick off the observance, the Zeta Tau Alpha Statesboro Alumnae Chapter will "Pink Out the Fountain" in downtown Metter on September 26 and downtown Statesboro on September 30th. They invite survivors, patients, and families to participate in a community-wide event to honor and raise awareness for breast cancer. They will also host a survivor's luncheon on September 29 at the Zeta house.
