Mr. Wallis Edward Lovett, Sr., 87, passed away at the Gentilly Gardens in Statesboro, GA on December 30, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Wallis was a car salesman for over twenty years with Parker Ford and G and G Ford. Along with his brother, Mickey, he started an auto body shop in the late 70s. In 1984 he set out on his own and started Wallis Paint and Body. He was a former member of Rotary Club and a member of the Sylvania Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-In-Law: Sabrina L. & William Waters of Sylvania and Kristal L. & Chris Waters of Savannah, GA; son and daughter-in-law: Eddie & Melanie Lovett of Sylvania; grandchildren: Courtney Waters, Whitney (Scott) Alford, Ansley (Jaycob) Schweiger, Addyson Waters, Aidan Waters, Edward Lovett and Alex Lovett; 3 great-grandchildren: Eric William Nefstead and Greer (Emma) Alford; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 1, 2024 at 11:00am at Screven County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Lonnie Johnson officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Gentilly Gardens, 625 Gentilly Road, Statesboro, GA 30458.
