Mr. Napoleon Young, age 86, passed into eternal rest, Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at his residence.
The native of Statesboro, Georgia was the son of the late Willie Curtis “W.C” Howard and the late Annie Bell Young Lester.
He received his formal education from the Bulloch County School System and attended the Willow Hill School of Portal.
At an early age he became a member of the St. Mary’s Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Napoleon Young was a former employee of Bulloch Memorial Hospital, where he worked as an orderly for many years. He retired from the First Bulloch Bank where he worked as a courier. After his retirement he worked for Dr. Albert Deal.
He was a member of the Grand Charity Department of the Smooth Ashlar Grand Lodge.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Helen Mikell, Arlene Lester, Annie Mae Lester, May Dell Lester, Elisha Lester, Jr. Rickey Lester, and Waymon Lester. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Rosa Marie Parrish Young, Statesboro, GA; children, Sabrina Young, Kirstan Young, and Waymon (Shirley) Sparrow all of Statesboro, GA; a sister, Sula Mosley, Portal, GA, a brother, Semmie (Patricia) Young, Statesboro, GA; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A walk-through viewing will be held from 4 P.M. to7 P.M., on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the funeral home.
The funeral service for Mr. Napoleon Young will be held 11 A.M., Monday, November 4, 2024, in the Ben Samuel Hill Memorial Chapel of Hill's Mortuary, Inc., with the Elder Donald Chavers, Jr.,Officiating.
Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
