Lyvonne Moore Smith was born October 20, 1952, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Tyler Moore and Marie Johnson.
She received her formal education in the Brooklyn New York School District.
Lyvonne worked for the Brooklyn School District for many years as a dietitian. She also resided in Virginia until she made Statesboro, Georgia her home.
Lyvonne loved cooking and helping others. She loved her family and her son Bruce and would always pray for them.
She attended the Elm Street Church of God where she sang in the choir.
On Sunday, November 3, 2024, Lyvonne Moore Smith, entered rest at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Bruce Moore: her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Bruce, Monai, Azzurah, Alaune and Bryce; five siblings, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Mrs. Lyvonne M. Smith, will be held at, 10 A.M., Friday, November, 2024, at the Ben Samuel Hill Memorial Chapel of Hill’s Mortuary, Inc. with the Rev. Alexander Smith, Officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
