Jody Lynn Harris Dellinger, age 57, passed away on Thursday, December 12th 2024, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.
Jody was born in Miami, FL to the late Michael John Harris and Shelia Palbicke Harris.
She was raised in Bulloch County after moving from Florida at a young age. She worked at Georgia Southern University in Information Technology for 20+ years before her retirement. Jody enjoyed taking care of her plants, gardening, had a love for animals, going to the beach with her family, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Kenneth Dellinger, her son and his fiancé, Jason Smith and Vacey, and her grandchildren, Alex Smith, Emma Smith, Eden Smith, and Dalton Smith.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro.
