Mr. Glenn Andrew Barnard, 83, died on Friday, December 13th, 2024 at home in Register, GA.
Glenn was born in Pierce County, GA on February 19th, 1941 to the late Lewis Defoe Barnard and Reba Thornton Barnard. He was a 1959 graduate of Jenkins High School in Savannah, GA.
In his younger years he loved to play basketball and golf. Glenn also enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family and friends catching up and telling a good story.
He is survived by his dedicated and loving wife, Glenda Barnard; all of his children Christopher Barnard (Pam) of Concord, NC, Troy Barnard of Savannah, GA, Crystal Todaro (Chris) of Bluffton, SC, Bobby Becker of Pooler, GA, and Renee Godsey of Burlington,IA; Brothers and sister, Joann McCarthy of Grayson, GA, Tom (Buck) Barnard (Linda) of Millen, GA, Joseph Barnard of Savannah, GA, Jack Barnard (Susan) of Radford, VA. Along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests to make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
A private family gathering will take place at a later time to celebrate Glenn.
