Twenty-nine students in the Ogeechee Technical College (OTC) Paramedicine Technology program received their pins in an annual pinning ceremony held at 6:00 pm on December 9, 2024 in the Joseph E. Kennedy Auditorium.
During the ceremony, instructors Chris Page, Catherine Martin, and Laura Coleman presented the students with their pins signifying the completion of their education and official initiation into the profession.
"Our Paramedicine Technology program equips students with the knowledge, skills, and dedication needed to excel in emergency medical services. These graduates have demonstrated exceptional perseverance and a deep commitment to serving their communities. They are not just entering the workforce—they are becoming the lifeline for those in critical moments of need," said Paramedicine Technology program director, Chris Page.
The Class of 2024 consisted of 6 Paramedic graduates, 10 Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) graduates, and 13 Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) graduates.
