The beloved annual community event, The Ultimate Baby Shower, is back for its seventh year, offering a day of celebration, support, and essential resources for new and expecting mothers. This free event will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Russell Union (85 Georgia Avenue), providing a welcoming space for families in need of guidance, encouragement, and baby essentials.
Organized by Restoring the Breach, Inc., The Ultimate Baby Shower is designed to uplift and empower new moms by connecting them with valuable resources, health professionals, and a strong sense of community. This year’s event will feature an exciting lineup of activities, including:

Informative Speakers – Experts in physical and mental health will share insights on postpartum care, nutrition, and overall well-being.

Fun & Engaging Games – Attendees can participate in baby-themed games for a chance to win exclusive prizes.

Music & Entertainment – Enjoy a lively atmosphere with music, networking opportunities, and community bonding.

Delicious Food – Free refreshments will be available for all guests.

Raffle Prizes & Giveaways – Moms will have the opportunity to receive essential baby items, including diapers, wipes, car seats, strollers, baby clothing, and much more.
The event is open to all new mothers who are expecting or have a child who is one year old or younger. Whether they are first-time parents or expanding their families, attendees will leave feeling informed, supported, and equipped with vital baby care essentials.
“We are thrilled to host The Ultimate Baby Shower once again and continue our mission of supporting local mothers,” said LaShai Campbell, Executive Director. “This event not only provides essential baby items but also fosters a strong support system for new parents in our community. Our first community baby shower in 2018 supported 7 moms and last year we saw 160 moms. We are thankful to our current event sponsors Amerigroup, Walmart DC, Fostering Bulloch, and Panera for their support.”
