On Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 12:05 p.m., officers from the Statesboro Police Department (SPD) responded to an armed robbery at the Enmarket convenience store located at 1609 Fair Road. The suspect fled the scene immediately following the incident, but quick action from officers and detectives, aided by video footage and witness statements, led to a swift arrest.

Upon arriving at the scene, SPD officers were able to gather footage of the suspect from the store's surveillance system. Utilizing the Fusus video-sharing system, local cameras tracked the suspect, later identified as Temaj Littles, 26, of Georgia Avenue in Statesboro. Littles was observed fleeing northward toward Brampton Avenue, discarding clothing and evidence along the way.

SPD officers confronted Littles near the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Brampton Avenue, where they successfully apprehended him without incident. During the arrest, the stolen money and a handgun were recovered.

Littles was transported to the Bulloch County Jail, where he was charged with one count of Armed Robbery and one count of Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime. He remains in custody pending further judicial action.
