Celebrate Recovery will host a free community event featuring keynote speaker Caroline Beidler, MSW, on Saturday, November 2, 2024. 

Caroline is an author, speaker, recovery advocate, and founder of the storytelling platform Circle of Chairs. She is a gifted writer and author of Downstairs Church: Finding Hope in the Grit of Addiction and Trauma Recovery and her most recent book, You Are Not Your Trauma: Uproot Unhealthy Patterns, Heal the Family Tree

As an addiction recovery expert and trained mental health provider, she writes extensively about related topics and works with state governments, international partners, and faith communities to build recovery support. With almost 20 years in leadership within social work and ministry, she shares her experience as a consultant with JBS International, writing and creating content for federal agencies like the Office of Recovery and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and is a correspondent with Recovery Today Magazine.

Caroline Beidler seeks to create resources that will help people navigate recovery and build resilience. 

Caroline is passionate about the hope that is possible through healing, transformation and recovery and will share her personal experience of recovery from addiction and trauma on Saturday, November 2, from 7-9pm at Eastern Heights Baptist Church, 23805 US Hwy 80 E Statesboro, GA 30461. 

This is a free event, and childcare will be provided for children ages birth to 5th grade. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
