Over 60 Vendors and Crowds Mark Successful Opening Day for Statesboro Farmers Market

The highly anticipated return of the beloved Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market packed the entire venue with over 60 vendors, bringing fresh produce, handmade goods, and unmatched joy to the marketgoers in attendance. The market is officially open for the season, running every Saturday morning through November.

On Saturday, April 5, 2025, the beautiful springtime season was felt throughout the air in Bulloch County as the beloved Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market returned, bringing talented artisans, farmers, bakers, chefs, and various gift vendors together for a massive opening day.

Many small business staples in the community had lines wrapped throughout the venue as people waited patiently for their favorite handmade art and artisanal designs, farm-fresh produce, beautiful flowers, locally cultivated meats, or their favorite sweet treats.

“I love to hear that people have, leading up to this event, say, 'Oh, you're the Farmer's Market Manager! We can't wait for the market to come back. We are so excited for the market to come back'," Cobb shared. "So I'm really glad we had this great turnout. I think everybody's really excited to have this back for Saturdays. It's a great way to meet people. It's a great way to find things to do and find new treats to have. I'm excited. I think it's great for the community. I'm so happy that it started back.”

The Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market will continue to run throughout the spring and summer, all the way into the fall of November, giving marketgoers plenty of time to stop by throughout the three seasons to enjoy what each vendor has to offer.
