Housing Resource Fair coming to Statesboro on March 28-29, offering assistance and opportunities

Statesboro residents seeking housing assistance and resources can attend the Housing Resource Fair on March 28th and 29th, 2025, at the Honey Bowen Building, where local organizations and agencies will offer support on affordable housing, rental assistance, and homeownership programs.

Residents of Statesboro and surrounding areas will have the opportunity to access a wide range of housing-related resources at the upcoming Housing Resource Fair. The event is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, March 28th and 29th, 2025, and will take place at the Honey Bowen Building, located at 1 Max Lockwood Dr.

The fair will be open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on both days. 

The Housing Resource Fair aims to connect individuals and families with vital housing assistance and information. Attendees can explore affordable housing options and rental assistance programs, meet with representatives from local housing organizations, landlords, and property managers, and gain access to resources specifically for displaced individuals and families. 

In addition to housing information, the fair will also feature community partners providing educational funding resources. Available assistance and opportunities include homeownership programs, rental assistance, loans, and health care services. 

Several agencies are participating in the event to provide comprehensive support. These include FEMA, the American Red Cross, the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. FEMA, a key participant, emphasizes its commitment to delivering disaster assistance impartially and without discrimination. 

Attendance and parking for the Housing Resource Fair are free. Language and sign language interpretation services will be available to ensure accessibility for all attendees. This event is a crucial opportunity for community members to access housing solutions and support services.
