Keep Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful and Ogeechee Riverkeeper (ORK) have partnered together to initiate the first-ever boom structure to catch litter in local waterways. KSBB and ORK have also initiated regular cleanups on Little Lotts Creek in Statesboro.

These cleanups include a deep sweep of a specific area on Little Lotts Creek that is in dire need of cleaning. Come and jump into the creek with KSBB and Ogeechee Riverkeeper (ORK) by participating in our creek cleanup this Saturday, November 16th, 2024 from 10am-12pm!

Parking can be found at the Honey Bowen Building (1 Max Lockwood Dr.) or along Zetterower Ave., next to the ball fields. We will meet at the bridge of Little Lotts Creek near the corner of Fair Rd. and Zetterower Ave. Watch for our “KSBB Clean Up Starts Here” sign.

Litter pickers, gloves, and bags will be provided. We have a limited amount of waders on hand, so be sure to wear appropriate shoes/boots.
