A Bulloch County home was damaged by fire on Monday evening.
Bulloch County 911 dispatched Statesboro and Bulloch County Fire Departments to a home fire at 9:51 PM on Monday, September 18, 2023 in the Greenhaven Mobile Home Park located at 2095 Old Register Road.
The first engine on the scene reported visible fire and smoke coming from the Mobile Home. They made an aggressive and rapid attack which had the fire extinguished within minutes. The fire is believed to have been started as a kitchen fire.
The home received significant fire damage and the family will be displaced. The American Red Cross Disaster Team have been notified and will work to provide temporary assistance to the occupants.
Bulloch County EMS responded to the scene and evaluated several of the occupants at the scene but did not transport anyone to the hospital.
Bulloch Sheriff's Deputies responded to assist as well.
Statesboro Fire Department will conduct a routine cause and origin investigation.
