About the founder, Robin Holmes-Lanier

Born and raised in Brooklet, Georgia, Robin Holmes-Lanier was educated in the Bulloch County school system and graduated from Southeast Bulloch High. She went on to attend Albany State University, majoring in Early Childhood Education.

In 2006, because of her lifelong love of music and children, she founded Baby Grand Music, LLC. She fondly remembers the importance of music in her childhood, "Taking piano at Mrs. Carolyn Lee's home and in the broom closets of the elementary, middle and high schools in Brooklet, Georgia," she shares. She later studied under the tutelage of Mrs. Annette Holloway, her mentor.

Her musical studies were a sacrifice for her mother, another reason that Holmes-Lanier believes in offering musical opportunities to children in the community.

Holmes-Lanier is a musician, singer, and songwriter. She has played the piano/keyboard for church choirs and sung in churches, educational institutions, and venues all over the state of Georgia, and she has toured the Southeast as a guest soloist and a member of several gospel groups.
