The Bulloch Bass Club and the Bulloch County Recreation and Parks Department invites local children and parents to participate in their 2023 Gary Oglesby Memorial Youth Fishing Rodeo this Saturday, October 14, at the Mill Creek Regional Park pond.
The event is from 8am-11am, and on-site registration begins at 7am. The tournament is FREE for all children ages 5-15 years old.
An adult must accompany all children, and all children must provide their own fishing equipment and bait.
Each annual tournament (including this year's) features:
- Tagged fish worth $50
- A tournament weigh-in where first, second, and third place receive trophies and rod/reel combos
- Prize draw for bicycles
- Every child participating in the tournament wins a prize!
- Free hot dogs and drinks will be provided for each child that enters the fishing tournament.
