In a special election on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, Bulloch County voters voted overwhelmingly to extend the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) for another six years.
In spite of very low voter turnout in the special election voters agreed to extend the SPLOST one penny sales tax.
SPLOST generates an estimated $138 million providing future property tax relief for Bulloch County Citizens.
