Local students shine on Dean's List across multiple colleges and universities

Local students are making waves across the country with impressive academic achievements, earning spots on the Dean's List at colleges and universities from Georgia to Maryland. Here’s a look at some of the standout students from Statesboro and surrounding areas who are showing off their dedication and hard work this semester!

Our community continues to make us proud as several local students earn recognition for their exceptional academic achievements. From Statesboro to surrounding areas, these students have earned spots on the Dean's List at various colleges, showcasing their hard work and dedication. Here’s a shoutout to these outstanding students by school:

Campbellsville University
Korine Talkington of Statesboro, GA, earned a spot on the Dean's List at Campbellsville University, proving her commitment to academic excellence.

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU)
Two students from Statesboro also made their mark at SNHU. Stephanie Rushing and Mya Williams were recognized for their outstanding academic performance, and we couldn’t be prouder!

Georgia College & State University
Georgia College & State University had a strong representation from Statesboro. The following students were named to the Dean’s List:

Georgia Southwestern State University
At Georgia Southwestern State University, Armani Cooke and Nj Dyer both earned spots on the Dean’s List, making their families and the community proud.

University of Maryland Global Campus
Jer’ryiiah Palmer of Statesboro was also recognized at the University of Maryland Global Campus, highlighting the strong academic foundation here in our community.

The Citadel
Representing The Citadel, Elisabeth Rhodes of Statesboro made her mark by earning a place on the Dean's List.

Valdosta State University
Valdosta State University saw several Statesboro students achieve Dean’s List honors, including:
