The Bulloch Agricultural Complex will host its Fourth Annual Ag-Grow Expo on March 1. The expo will feature educational vendors, equipment vendors, kid’s activities, and a community stage! This event will be free and open to the public.
On Friday, February 28th, educational vendors will teach students about this community’s core agriculture products. A few of the educational vendors that will be on hand include the Georgia Peanut Commission, the Bulloch County Farm Services Agency, Bees Knees, Ogeechee Technical College, Bulloch County 4H, and more. There will also be vendors that will be demonstrating several types of equipment that is used in the agriculture industry locally.
On Friday, the expo will not be open to the public, as we will use this time to host the Ag Discovery Event for Bulloch County Schools sixth grade students as well as schools from the surrounding counties. This will be our third year hosting this group, and we are thankful to be able to provide this opportunity to them.
On Saturday, March 1, from 10 am until 2pm, the educational booths, equipment, and activities return, along with a few stage acts. We will also host livestock for you to visit and learn more about.
“We love hosting this event each year. The citizens of Bulloch County can learn more about agriculture and visit the Ag Arena, which is one of our premier recreational facilities,” says Recreation Director Dadrian Cosby.
The event is sponsored by AgSouth Farm Credit, Bulloch Solutions, Shea Tractor, Bulloch County Farm Bureau, Excelsior EMC and the Kiwanis Club of Statesboro.
“We can bring this event to the community because of our 2025 Ag Expo sponsors. We are thankful for their willingness to sponsor this event,” says Cosby.
