Deborah and Roy Thompson and their family, who are the owners of TMT Farm on the north edge of Bulloch County, are known for their incredible TMT Farm Christmas Lights drive thru display, announced on Saturday, September 9, 2023 that 2022 was the last year for the Christmas lights drive-thru.

Statement from the Thompson Family

We hope that everyone is having a blessed year! The Christmas Season will be here before you know it!

Our families have an announcement to make....2022 WAS THE LAST YEAR FOR OUR CHRISTMAS LIGHTS DRIVE-THRU!!! After a few family meetings, we decided that it was time. We never expected it to grow to the magnitude that it did. While we are grateful that it did, it also brought lots of work, time away from our other family, vandalism and theft. It is time to get back to our families during the Christmas season!!

We are so grateful for every person that has come out since we started this many, many years ago. You all have provided hundreds of families with food, hundreds of children with gifts, hundreds of pets with food and hundreds of families with the blessing of getting to keep their power on, catch up on their rent, have a much needed surgery and the list goes on.

To everyone who volunteered their time out here...We Thank You!

NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE WITHOUT Y'ALLS GENEROSITY!

WE THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!! KEEP THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT YEAR ROUND!!

"IT'S CHRISTMAS IN THE HEART THAT PUTS CHRISTMAS IN THE AIR"!!

GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU AND THANK YOU AGAIN,

THE THOMPSON - MCCRANIE - THOMPSON families

Two miles of Christmas Joy

The light show, which was located on their families farm, was decorated annually with over two miles of Christmas lights.

TMT Farms

The TMT Farm Christmas Lights show opened annually from Thanksgiving day till the end of December.

In lieu of admissions, TMT accepted non-perishable food items, cash contributions, dog/cat food (pet supplies) and new - unopened toys. They donated the food to the the local food banks, the toys to Toys for Tots to be distributed to children in need and the pet food to local organizations that rescue pets.

The food, and toys, were distributed to needy families throughout Bulloch and surrounding counties. The monetary contributions were used to purchase gift cards for needy families. They also help families that need a hand up during other times of the year.

This has been a remarkable gift to our community which touched so many lives from the Christmas Joy we all gained by driving through the light show, to the hundreds of families and children who were able to have Christmas.  This was all made possible because of the overwhelming generosity of the Thompson family.

We will miss this gift to our community, but understand the outsized task it had become to setup and operate the Christmas light show.

Below is a video of th show from 2020 to give you a chance to see the show one more time.

The Grice Connect family thanks the Thompson and McCranie families for all they have done and continue to do for our community.
