On Thursday evening, July 20, 2023, a slate of officers for Statesboro American Legion Post 90 and the Auxiliary were sworn in for the 2023 – 2024 Year.
As usual, the meeting, held every third Thursday, began with a meal and fellowship at 6:00pm. The meeting began with Janelle Prescott, District 1 president, swearing in the officers for the Unit 90 Auxiliary.
The officers are:
- Jenelle Prescott – District 1 President
- Tara Dunn-Ofray – President of Unit 90
- Felicia Dunn – First Vice President
- Nancy Sanders – Second Vice President
- Jennifer Godwin - Secretary
- Donna Brigman – Treasurer
- Nancy Messinger – Historian
- Terry Grimm – Chaplain
Following the Auxiliary swearing in, Casy Nash, District 1 commander took over. She began with presenting an award to Gary Martin, for attaining 100% membership renewal.
Then Post 90 was honored with a Post Excellence Award.
Nash then swore in the new officers.
