Bulloch County Sheriff's Motor Escort Unit escorted some very precious VIP cargo back home to Bulloch County Friday afternoon, June 16, 2023. Over 300 5th and 6th grade Bulloch County students are returning from a fun filled week at Rock Eagle 4-H Center Summer Camp. It took 10 Bulloch County School buses to transport the students and their luggage home. Bulloch County 4-H sends one of the largest number of students annually to this summer camp.
Thank you to the Bulloch bus drivers who made this trip to deliver them and return them home safely and to all the 4-H staff members, volunteers and camp counselors for providing this wonderful experience for these students.
Each week during the summer over 1,000 students descend on Rock Eagle. For many of these students, it is their first time away from their parents for an entire week. It is a ton of fun for the students and a stressful week for the parents.
