Parker's Kitchen has begun site preparation for another new Parker's Kitchen in Statesboro at the intersection of Fair Road and Burkhalter/Harville Road. There has not been a timeline for construction announced.
They are close to re-opening their new store at the corner of Lanier and Chandler across from Paulson Stadium located at 141 Lanier Drive in Statesboro.
A new store is also under construction at the corner of North Main and Northside Drive East.
Annexed into the City
At the October 18, 2022 City Council meeting, the Council approved the Annexation of three properties totaling 3.8 acres in order to construct a Parker’s Kitchen located on the intersection of Burkhalter/Harville and Highway 67, commonly known as 17241 GA Highway 67.
At the meeting, the City Council also approved a zoning map Amendment from the R-40 (Single-Family Residential) zoning district to the HOC (Highway Oriented Commercial) zoning district in order to construct a Parker’s Kitchen located on the 3.8 acres of property at the intersection of Burkhalter/Harville and Highway 67, commonly known as 17241 GA Highway 67.
