Papa Sol to take the downtown stage Thursday night for next Downtown Live

Grab your dancing shoes and lawn chair and head downtown this Thursday evening for Papa Sol, the second concert in the 2024 Downtown Live Concert Series! Admission to this family-friendly event is free.

Following a large turnout on April 18 to enjoy the music from The Tams, The City of Statesboro is excited to welcome Papa Sol to the stage for the second concert in the 2nd Annual Downtown Live Concert Series.

Downtown Live will run from April through September with a total of eight concerts taking place on select Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. The concerts will be held on East Main Street in front of the Bulloch County Courthouse and are open to the public.

On May 2, Papa Sol will entertain the crowds on the courthouse lawn with a musical fusion that blends funk, reggae, country, blues, rock and roll, jazz and country music. With so many genres covered by the seven member band, the music is sure to entertain a variety of attendees.

Grab your dancing shoes and lawn chair and join the fun in Downtown Statesboro this summer. Admission to the concerts is open to the public. Food trucks and vendors will open at 6:00 p.m. on the day of the event with several downtown restaurants also within walking distance of the concert stage. Downtown Live is a family-friendly event for all ages.
