The Bulloch Academy Gators made their way down the road to Claxton to take on the Tigers on Friday, August 23rd. The Gators routed their opponents 38-13
The Gators took control early and never looked back. The Gators' defense and run game beat down on the Tigers all game long.
Shemar Jenkins found the endzone 3 times including a 60 yard touchdown run. Danye Garvin added 2 more scores of his own through the ground game.
By the time the 4th quarter started, the Gators were already in full control with a 29-7 lead. Jenkins sprinted out for a 60-yard touchdown to expand the Gators lead. The defense got in on the scoring by forcing a safety making the score 38-7.
The Gators held a small 15-7 lead going into the half. They would explode out of the half with an 11-yard touchdown by Jenkins. Garvin followed up the next possession by punching it in at the goal line.
The Tigers showed life early when they scored off of a 21 yard pass early in the 1st quarter. The Gators responded with two scores by Jenkins and Garvin to take the lead.
The Gators improve to 2-0 on the year.

The Gators will stay on the road next week when they take on the Augusta Christian Lions. Kickoff is set to be at 7:00pm.
