SEB Softball celebrate Coach Civalier's 400th win

The year has been something to remember for the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets' softball team. They have won 12 of their first 13 games with an undefeated 6-0 record in region play. Tuesday's 9-1 victory over the Islands Sharks had a little more sugar added on top of it. Head Coach Aimee Civalier won her 400th career game as a softball coach.

Southeast Bulloch played another great game with their offense putting pressure on their opponents to defend perfectly and try to keep up on the scoreboard.

Coach Civalier talked about what this milestone means to her.

"A lot of hard work goes into 400 wins and it is a testament to the program of SEB softball," Civalier said. "It starts with the amazing coaches that I have been able to work with over the years; we would not be here without them. It continues with the support of the administration and community, which includes all of the players' parents that have come through SEB over the past 20 years."

Civalier highlighted the players that she had a chance to coach during her tenure at SEB. "There is a long list of players that are a part of our SEB softball family that have contributed to the overall success of our program," Civalier said.

She spoke on how it is significant to reach 400 wins with this specific group around her. "It is especially rewarding to share this accomplishment with this team and my family," Civalier said. Sabrina Civalier is in her 11th season as coach and Coach Civalier's daughter, Paisley Nordeoff is a 4-year senior with the Yellow Jackets.

It is good to celebrate the wins and accomplishments, but there is still work to do for Southeast Bulloch.

"Our main focus this season is winning as many games as we can to get power ranked as high as we can to put us in a good position for postseason play," Civalier said.
